Hub & Bearing Assembly: Installation

  1. On models where top rear retaining bolt hits brake shoe, install retaining bolt in hub assembly prior to installation. On all models, install hub assembly on rear axle. Tighten retaining bolts to specification.
  2. Install wheel speed sensor (if equipped). Using non-ferrous feeler gauge, adjust wheel speed sensor air gap to .028" (.71 mm). On all models, tighten retaining bolt to specification. Install brake drums and wheels.
