Quartz Electric Speedometer

The speedometer utilizes a quartz crystal and integrated electronic circuitry to process an electrical speed signal. A conventional dial and pointer assembly, along with odometer wheels, are used for display. A Permanent Magnet (PM) generator, in place of conventional speedometer drive gear, is used to provide vehicle speed data.
