Removal (Camaro & Firebird)
- Raise and support vehicle. Support rear axle with adjustable lifting device. Remove track bar mounting bolt at axle assembly. Loosen track bar bolt at body brace.
- Disconnect rear brake hose clip at underbody to allow axle drop. Remove both lower shock absorber attaching nuts. Remove drive shaft on 4-cylinder models. Lower rear axle and remove spring.
