Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Mark and disconnect spark plug wires at spark plugs. Remove necessary AIR hoses. Mark and remove necessary electrical connectors.
  2. Remove necessary accessories and brackets. Remove bolts retaining valve covers. Use a block of wood and rubber mallet to loosen valve cover (if necessary). Remove valve cover and gasket. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
