Rocker Arm Studs: Installation

  1. Using Reamer (J-5715 for .003" and J-6036 for .013" oversize studs), ream stud hole for oversize stud, as necessary. DO NOT install oversize stud without reaming stud hole, as damage to head may occur.
  2. Coat press fit area of stud with hypoid gear oil. Drive stud into place using Stud Guide (J-6880) and hammer. When stud guide bottoms on head, stud is at correct height.
