Master Cylinder: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Torque attaching nuts to 20 ft. lbs. (27 N.m). Tighten hydraulic line nuts to 17 ft. lbs. (23 N.m).
  2. Fill master cylinder to proper level with clean brake fluid. Bleed brake system. See HYDRAULIC BRAKE BLEEDING  in this article.
