Instrument Cluster: Removal

  1. Remove right and left lower trim plates. Lower instrument panel covers do not need to be removed. Remove instrument cluster trim plate. Using a screwdriver, remove 6 instrument cluster attaching screws.
  2. Pull cluster back (towards rear of vehicle) and disconnect speedometer cable by pressing down on spring retaining clip and sliding speedometer off instrument cluster. Remove electrical connectors. Remove trip odometer reset knob (if equipped). Remove instrument cluster lens.
