Inspection

Refer to Fig. 22 for shift rail and fork assemblies.

1. Clean assemblies with solvent, then blow dry using low pressure compressed air.
2. The components that comprise the 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th and 5th gear and reverse shift rail and fork assemblies are serviceable as an assembly only.
3. Inspect all components for excessive wear and/or damage. Replace worn or damaged components as required.
