Engine Front Cover: Removal

  1. Drain cooling system. Disconnect transmission oil cooler lines, upper and lower radiator hoses. Remove radiator fan shroud and radiator. Remove belts, fan, fan pulley and crankshaft pulley.
  2. Remove torsional damper. Remove water pump. Remove front cover attaching bolts. Remove front cover with timing indicator. Remove both dowel pins.
