Rear Coil Spring

FIREBIRD
1. Raise car on suitable hoist and support rear axle on adjustable type lifting device.
2. Loosen track bar bolt at body brace and remove track bar mounting bolt at axle assembly, Fig. 3.
3. Disconnect rear brake hose clip at underbody and remove both shock absorber lower attaching nuts.
4. Remove prop shaft from vehicles with four cylinder engines.
5. Lower rear axle and remove coil spring and insulators.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
