Install front and rear bearings first. These bearings act as guides for pilot and center remaining bearings being pulled into place. Assemble tool on driver handle. Align oil holes. Install camshaft front and rear bearings by driving toward center of block.
NOTE:
No. 1 bearing should be installed so oil holes are an equal distance from 6 o'clock position; No. 2 through No. 4 bearings should be installed with oil holes at 5 o'clock position; and No. 5 bearing should be installed with oil holes at 12 o'clock position.
