Speedometer Reads 0 All The Time

  1. Remove both connectors from vehicle speed sensor buffer. Plug both connectors into Harness Connector (J-33431-8). With Instrument Panel Tester (J-33431) set to "ON", "54 MPH", and "60 HZ", place ignition switch in "RUN" position.
  2. Speedometer should indicate 52-56 MPH. If speedometer reads correctly, fault is in vehicle speed sensor circuit No. 537 (Lt. Green/Black wire). If speedometer reads incorrectly, check circuit No. 537 (Lt. Green/Black wire) from buffer to instrument panel. If wire is okay, replace instrument cluster.
