Fuel Display Full When Tank Is Empty

Remove connector from fuel gauge sending unit. Connect a fused jumper wire between terminal "B" (Pink wire) and terminal "A" (Black wire) of harness connector. If display now reads empty, wiring is good. Replace fuel gauge sending unit. If display still reads full, check for opens in circuit No. 30 (Pink wire) or circuit No. 150 (Black wire) to fuel gauge sending unit. If wires are okay, replace instrument cluster.
