Fuel Display

The fuel gauge sending unit measures fuel level and provides a signal to instrument cluster. At full tank, the resistance from the sending unit is 90 ohms. At empty, the resistance is zero ohms. The microprocessor converts this signal to activate a 12-segment bar graph to display fuel level. When the bar graph changes from 2 to 1 segments, an audible alarm beeps briefly.
