Coolant Temperature Display

The coolant temperature sending unit monitors engine temperature. The resistance of the coolant temperature sending unit varies from 1365 ohms at 100°F (38°C) to 55 ohms at 260°F (127°C). The coolant temperature display is a 12-segment bar graph. When the bar graph changes to all segments activated (hot coolant temperature), an audible alarm beeps.
