Engine Mount: Service and Repair

ENGINE MOUNT
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove engine compartment lid and side cover panels.
3. Support engine with tools J-28467 and J-35563.
4. Remove torque reaction rod bolt.
5. Raise and support vehicle.
6. Remove engine mount to chassis attaching nuts, Fig. 1.
7. Remove engine mount to support bracket upper nuts.
8. Remove engine mount from vehicle.
9. Reverse procedure to install.

Fig. 2 Transaxle mount installation:

TRANSAXLE MOUNTS
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove engine compartment lid and side cover panels. Do not remove torsion rod retaining bolts.
3. Support engine and transaxle with tools J-28467 and J-35563.
4. Remove mount to cradle and support bracket attaching nuts, Fig. 2.
5. Remove transaxle mount and shield, if equipped.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
