Oil Pressure Gauge Display Reading Is High
- Remove connector from oil pressure sending unit. Using a jumper wire, connect Tan wire to ground. If oil pressure gauge displays low pressure, circuit wiring is okay. Replace oil pressure sending unit.
- If oil pressure gauge displays high pressure, check for open circuit in Tan wire. If wire is okay, replace instrument cluster.
