Low Coolant Module Test

  1. Disconnect low coolant sensor and low coolant module. Place ignition switch in "RUN" position. Measure voltage between Pink/Black wire and ground. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If not, check Pink/Black wire for an open circuit.
  2. Measure voltage between Pink/Black wire and Black wire. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If not, check Black wire for an open circuit.
  3. Measure voltage between Gray/Yellow wire and ground. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If not, check Gray/Yellow wire for an open circuit. If wire is okay, replace instrument cluster.
  4. Measure voltage between Pink/Black and Yellow/Black wire. If reading is zero volts, replace low coolant module. If not, check Yellow/Black wire for short to ground.
