English/Metric Switch

The "ENGLISH/METRIC" switch by-passes either of the 2 Light Emitting Diodes (LED). In the "METRIC" position, the English position diode is shorted out. The Metric diode lights and battery voltage is applied to the English/Metric input terminal of the instrument cluster to connect all Metric readouts.

With switch in the "ENGLISH" position, the Metric position diode is by-passed. The English diode lights and the English/Metric input terminal of the instrument cluster is grounded to connect all standard (English) readouts.
