Instrument Panel - Electronic: Testing: Tachometer

Install Signal Generator (J-33431) into tach terminal at ignition coil. Set signal generator to 60 Hz frequency signal, tachometer should read 1800 RPM. If not, check wiring. If it is, replace tachometer with a new unit.
