Synchronizer Keys and Springs Replace

NOTE: Synchronizer hubs and sliding sleeves should be kept together as an assembly, however, keys and springs may be replaced, if needed.

1. Mark hub and sleeve for alignment during assembly.

2. Push hub from sliding sleeve. The keys will become free and springs can be removed.

3. Position two springs so that all three keys are engage by both springs, see accompanying figure.

4. Position keys and hold in place, then slide sleeve onto hub aligning marks made during disassembly.
