Fig. 7 Lower ball joint replacement:
1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove wheel and tire assembly, then the ball stud clamp bolt.
3. Disconnect ball joint from knuckle by tapping with a mallet.
4. Replace ball joint as shown in Fig. 7.
