Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove shift knob and both ashtrays.
3. Remove 4 shift plate attaching bolts and the plate.
4. Remove front trim plate, then the front pad attaching screws and front pad.
5. Remove radio attaching screws.
6. Pull radio rearward and disconnect all electrical connectors, then remove radio from vehicle.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
