External Transaxle Mounted Linkage

1. Refer accompanying image, and proceed as follows:

a. Remove nut (129). Do not allow lever (127) to move during removal of nut. Use a 3/8 inch drive to hold external shift lever by the slot.

b. Remove washer 128), lever (127) and retainer (120).

c. Remove pivot pin (122) and pivot (124).

d. Remove pin (126), collar (125), attaching bolts (123) and bracket (121).

e. Remove fluid level indicator assembly (110).

f. Remove electronic speedometer signal assembly (172), retainer (212) and attaching bolt (213).
