A/T - 125/125C No Second Gear After Rebuild

SUBJECT: 125/125C

PROBLEM: No second gear after rebuild.

CAUSES:
1. Band adjustment - should be 1/8" to 3/16"

2. Servo bottoming out in case.




3. Servo that is not sealing (see illustration) Air check with 30 psi.

4. Plug missing in case (see illustration)

5. 1-2 accumulator not sealing

6. 1-2 shift valve stuck

7. Check separator plate for blocked hole, and check for blown valve body gasket.

8. Blown case cover gasket.
