1. Faulty engine thermostat or improper heat range application.

a. A/C on full time.
b. Incorrect tire pressures.
c. Excessively heavy loads being carried.
d. Excessive acceleration.
4. Air cleaner element dirty.
5. Improperly calibrated speedometer.
6. Vacuum hoses split, kinked or improperly connected.
7. Faulty spark plug wires.
8. Improper ignition timing.
9. Faulty spark plugs.
10. Improper compression.
11. Brakes dragging.
12. Restricted exhaust system.
