1985 GRAND AM, FIERO, 6000, & FIREBIRD WITH 2.5L L-4 ENGINE
A broken rocker arm stud may be encountered on a 1985 2.5L engine. This condition may be the result of a shallow stud hole in the cylinder head. Remove broken stud before installing new stud. Grinding a small amount off the end of the new stud prior to installing it in the head will usually correct this condition.
