Lower Ball Joint: Removal
Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel. Remove lower control arm ball stud clamp bolt. Using a ball joint remover, disconnect ball joint from knuckle. Drill ball joint-to-control arm rivet heads and drive out rivets.
