Lower Ball Joint: Installation

Check ball joint seals for wear. If ball joint can be twisted by hand in its socket, replace joint. Using 3 bolts, connect ball joint to lower control arm. Position knuckle over ball stud and install clamp bolt. Install wheel and lower vehicle. Check wheel alignment.
