Preliminary Check

The right and left actuators contain torque operated limit switches. When headlight doors are fully opened or fully closed, the limit switches shut off actuator motors. Check door linkage for binding before conducting electrical tests, as any high torque load may cause actuators to stop operating before end travel is reached.
