Oil Pressure Gauge

  1. Unplug oil pressure gauge sender wire at instrument panel connector. Connect Tester (J-24538-A) between sender wire and ground. Turn ignition to "ON". If gauge responds to tester and wiring is okay, replace sender.
  2. If gauge reads slightly below midscale with 90 ohms from tester or is inaccurate in other ways, check for loose connections on rear of gauge and wiring. If connections are okay, replace gauge.
