Water Pump: Installation

  1. Clean all gasket surfaces. Apply sealer to pump gasket and position gasket on pump. Position pump on engine, install retaining bolts and tighten.
  2. Install water pump pulley and alternator. Install and adjust drive belts. Reverse removal procedure to complete installation.
