Valve Stem Springs & Oil Seals: Removal

  1. Remove rocker arms keeping them in position for reinstallation in original location. Remove spark plugs. Install air compressor line in spark plug hole. Apply compressed air to hold valves in place.
  2. Using valve spring compressor, compress valve spring. Remove rocker guides, valve locks, caps and valve spring. Remove valve stem oil seal.
