1965-67 Chevy II

  1. Drain crankcase, disconnect battery and remove starter. Disconnect steering idler arm bracket at right frame side rail and swing steering linkage down for clearance. On 6 Cyl. cars, remove front crossmember (let stabilizer bar hang down while removing crossmember on station wagons). On all cars, remove oil pan attaching bolts and remove oil pan.
    NOTE: When installing oil pan, install screws into timing gear cover last as they are installed at an angle, and will line up after installation.
