Multiple/Individual Instrument Cluster Gauges Inoperative

  1. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Turn ignition on. Using DVOM, measure voltage between ground and instrument cluster connector terminals No. 15 (Dark Blue/White wire) and No. 21 (Pink wire). See Fig 1 . If battery voltage exists at both terminals, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist at either or both terminals, repair as necessary.
  2. Turn ignition off. Using DVOM, measure resistance between instrument cluster connector terminal No. 10 (Black/Orange wire) and ground. If continuity does not exist, repair as necessary. If continuity exists, check for damaged pins or connector. If connector is okay, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
