Removal & Installation
NOTE:
When instrument cluster is removed, it is important to store cluster in face-up position to prevent damage to gauge operation.
- Disconnect negative battery cable to ensure no DTCs are generated. Remove left and right "A" pillar trim panels. Remove instrument panel top cover and cluster bezel by lifting up lower outer areas of cluster bezel and rear edge of top cover to disengage clips. Pull top cover and bezel rearward to disengage forward pins from instrument panel. See Fig 1 .
- Pry cluster bezel upward to disengage clips and remove from vehicle. Remove 4 screws attaching cluster housing to base panel. Pulling cluster rearward, disconnect cluster from base panel. Disconnect instrument cluster electrical connector. Remove instrument cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure.
