Front Brake Rotor: Installation

  1. Clean both sides of rotor with alcohol or solvent. Install rotor onto hub assembly. Install caliper assembly. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
  2. Lower vehicle and operate brake pedal to ensure a firm feel. Road test vehicle and make several stops to wear off any foreign material on brakes and to seat brake pad linings.
