Front Brake Caliper & Pads: Removal
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheels. Remove caliper-to-knuckle guide pin bolts. Pull lower end of caliper out from machined abutment on steering knuckle, and roll caliper out and away from brake disc. Pads remain with caliper.
- Remove outboard pad by prying between pad and caliper. Remove inboard pad by pulling pad and lining away from piston. Compress caliper piston if new pads are to be installed.
