Engine Bell Housing: Installation

  1. Position bell housing in vehicle. As bell housing is positioned, line up engine drive flange pilot to inner bearing of propeller shaft. See Figure . Install rear engine mount bolts. Torque to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.).
  2. Align marks on propeller shaft with engine drive flange. Install coupler bolts. Torque to 95 N.m (70 ft. lbs.). Install engine in vehicle.
