Propeller Shaft RUNOUT: Notes

  1. Remove dirt, paint, and undercoating from propeller shaft surface. Areas where dial indicator will contact shaft must be clean. The dial indicator must be installed perpendicular to shaft surface.
  2. Measure runout at center and ends. See RUNOUT SPECIFICATIONS  . Replace propeller shaft if runout exceeds limit.
