Stabilizer Bar: Removal
- Raise vehicle on jackstand or centered on a frame contact type hoist. Remove both rear tire and wheel assemblies. Remove nuts attaching stabilizer bar attaching links to lower rear control arms. See Figure . Remove stabilizer bar attaching link from stabilizer bar.
- Remove 4 bolts and tapping plates attaching stabilizer bar bushing retainers to frame. See Figure . Remove bushing retainers from stabilizer bar bushings. Remove stabilizer bar and bushings as an assembly from vehicle.
