Removal & Installation

With camshaft sprockets removed. Refer to procedure outlined in this section. Use Special Tool C-3981B to remove camshaft oil seal. See Fig 1.
To install, apply light coat of engine oil to camshaft oil seal lip. Install oil seal using Special Tool 6788 Seal Protector Sleeve, see Fig 2, and Seal Installer 6052. See Fig 3.
