Raise vehicle on jackstands or centered on a hoist.NOTE: When removing center cap from wheel do not use a sharp or hard tool. Use of such a tool can mare finish on wheel and damage center cap.
- Remove center cap from wheel. Center cap is removed by inserting a trim stick into notch on center cap and prying it off wheel. See Fig 2 . Remove front wheels and tires. Remove banjo bolt securing brake hose to brake caliper. Inspect brass washers for damage and replace as necessary.
- Remove 2 bolts attaching disc brake caliper to caliper adapter. See Figure . Remove disc brake caliper from caliper adapter by first rotating free end of caliper away from caliper adapter. Then slide opposite end of caliper out from under machined abutment on caliper adapter. See Figure .
