Combination Valve: Installation

  1. Install combination valve on frame rail. Install attaching bolt and tighten to 28 N.m (250 INCH lbs.). See Figure . Install 5 chassis brake tubes into inlet and outlet ports on combination valve. Tighten all 5 tube nuts to 16 N.m (145 INCH lbs.).
  2. Install wiring harness connector on brake warning lamp switch. Lower vehicle. Remove brake pedal depressor. Bleed brake system thoroughly to ensure that all air has been expelled from hydraulic system. Road test vehicle to verify proper operation of vehicles brake system.
