Headlamp Adjustment: Notes
A properly aimed headlamp will project upper step of beam pattern 20 mm (.75") below headlamp center line. The horizontal aim will project vertical step on vertical center line of headlamp. The preferred headlamp alignment is 0 (+ 0.76°) for up/down adjustment as indicated on bubble level. Preferred left/right alignment is 0 (+ 0.76°) as indicated on scale. See Figure . The high beam headlamps cannot be aligned. The high beam pattern should be correct when low beams are aligned properly.
NOTE:
The bubble level and scale are calibrated before headlamp is installed in vehicle. The bubble level cannot be calibrated without damaging headlamp module. If bubble level is faulty, replace headlamp module.
To adjust headlamp alignment, rotate alignment screws to achieve specified low beam pattern.
