Strut & Coil Spring Assembly: Reassembly

Compress coil spring evenly. Position coil spring over strut piston. Rotate coil spring so spring seats in recess on spring base. See Figure. Beginning with dust cover, position all other components onto strut. Hold piston rod stationary and tighten piston rod nut 14-18 ft. lbs. (19-24 N.m).
