Removal & Installation: Reservoir: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Turn ignition off. Depress brake pedal 40 or more times to depressurize brake system. With a syringe, remove as much brake fluid as possible from reservoir.
  2. Remove accumulator and high pressure pump hose banjo fitting. Remove 3 locking pins from hydraulic assembly. Remove reservoir by carefully prying between reservoir and hydraulic assembly with blunt tool.
CAUTION: DO NOT  damage or puncture reservoir during removal.
