Front Brake Caliper & Pads (Bolt-On Adapter Mounted Caliper): Removal

  1. Raise vehicle on jackstands, or center on hoist. Remove front wheel. Remove caliper guide pin bolts. After removing caliper guide pin bolts, wedge caliper away from brake disc with screwdriver to break gasket adhesive seals.
  2. Slowly slide caliper away from disc to remove. Remove outboard pad from adapter. Remove disc. Remove inboard pad.
