Front Brake Caliper & Pads (Bolt-On Adapter Mounted Caliper): Installation

Generously lubricate both adapter ways with Mopar multipurpose lubricant. Remove protective paper from noise suppression gasket on both inner and outer brake pads.
Install new inboard pad on adapter; ensure grease from adapter way does not get on brake lining material. Install disc on hub. Slide outboard brake pad on adapter. Carefully lower caliper over disc and brake pads. Install caliper guide pins and tighten to 25-35 ft. lbs. (34-37 N.m).
NOTE: Caution should be taken not to cross-thread caliper bolts.
Install wheels. Tighten wheel nuts in crisscross sequence to half torque, then repeat tightening sequence to full torque. See the TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table.
Lower vehicle and operate brake pedal to ensure a firm feel. Road test vehicle and make several stops to wear off any foreign material on brakes and to seat brake pad linings.
