Automatic Adjuster
Adjuster moves upward when brakes are applied. Adjuster screw threads on Daytona and LeBaron are opposite of other models. Cage and spring on adjuster cable absorbs secondary shoe movement, except when shoe wear results in enough movement, causing adjuster to rotate. This feature reduces possibility of over-adjustment.
NOTE:
Adjust brake shoes only after replacing brake lining, or if brake applications are insufficient to actuate automatic adjuster.
